My name is Jake Daley. I'm a native of Sterling Heights, Michigan (for reference, if you look at your right palm, Sterling Heights is at the bottom right where the thumb meets the palm). I graduated from Oakland University with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
My work has allowed me to perform at wonderful regional theaters in Michigan, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, and Missouri. I specialize in comedic performances and tap dancing. I’ve also served as an understudy (and gone on to perform) for a handful of projects. Performing a variety of theatrical styles and shows has allowed me to thrive as an adaptable and versatile actor.
I have a massive sweet tooth, which means I love to bake! Take a look at some of my favorite bakes further down. (Let me know if you’d like to sample anything!) In addition to baking, I love reading, roller skating, listening to Dolly Parton, watching The Great British Baking Show each year, drinking coffee (iced coffee, thank you), cooking, yoga, quoting Trixie and Katya, and getting outside as much as I can.
Thanks for visiting! I hope to work with you soon!

“The role of the candelabra Lumiere, on Saturday, was performed by understudy Jake Daley – typically a member of the ensemble – and he was impeccable. If there hadn’t been an announcement at the top of the show, no one would have known that Daley was merely filling in.”
-Madeline Dudziak, River Cities’ Reader
“Jake Daley brings a lightness to Phil Davis, Wallace’s performing partner. He tap-dances wonderfully in “I Love a Piano’.”
-Charles Green, DC Theater Arts
“Jake Daley is an energetic kid as Tom Sawyer...Daley also has a dandy tenor which shines as he sings about the benefits of keeping a pig for a pet in ‘Hand for the Hog’.”
-Chris’ Corner
“Jake Daley stars as his matchmaking sidekick, Phil Davis...All four principal players are seasoned performers making their Classic Theatre of Maryland debut.”
-Susan Nolan, MD Theatre Guide
“Jake Daley gives a cheerfulness to Fred.”
-Charles Green, DC Theater Arts
